Volunteers
We have a diverse and enthusiastic team of volunteers that assist with the day to day operations of the Gallery. They help with public programs and education workshops, exhibition installation and customer service. Without this help we wouldn't be able to present the wonderful program that we currently do. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete the attached Application Form and submit to gallery@wollongong.nsw.gov.au.
The Gallery will not be taking any more Volunteers until further notice.

Volunteer Gallery Guides
Our education staff includes a team of volunteer tour guides from the local community.
The purpose of the guides is to provide further information to the public about the permanent art collection and temporary exhibitions at the Gallery. Our guides have graduated from Wollongong Art Gallery's intensive training course in art history and general art education. The members have varied backgrounds in art, either through formal qualifications, overseas travel, small business, practice in the studio or appreciation of the arts.
